There are literally thousands of people who have been through all sorts of coaching courses of varying quality but there is no recognised, statutary or professionally regulated body and nor is there likely to be one in the foreseeable future.  

Charles Bentley PhD, the founder of the unitive approach to life coaching, works as a one-to-one tutorial coach only with those individuals who have a latent gift for this kind of work and therefore have a very good chance of making a financial success of it.  It also helps if you have a first degree in some discipline and/or a commercial, professional, performing arts or media background. The programme consists of twelve one-and-a-half hour personal development coaching and advanced life coaching tutorials plus a one-day seminar of not more than eight participants. The individual tutorials are usually arranged weekly or fortnightly, or at other intervals by mutual agreement, on a pay-as-you-go basis, at a fee of £125 per session. The
one-day seminar is from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the fee is £195 for each participant.*

On successful completion of the programme you may then use the registered title Unitive™ Licensed Life Coach in all your publicity, contacts and literature to describe your status as an advanced practitioner in personal and business coaching. Entry to this programme is by mutual agreement subsequent to the first session. The number of entrants is necessarily limited by Charles' current availability and work commitments.
