Yet another self-help book? Definitely, not!

This new book is a uniquely comprehensive in-depth guide to ‘going with the flow'. It’s not at all about self-help. Rather, it's about self-understanding, about becoming part and parcel of whatever's going on around you at any given moment  – even at difficult times like the present. Personal authenticity is all about experiencing each event in your life as it actually is, instead of looking at it through the distorting mirrors of your personal history.  Being truly human is about re-uniting your parts, accepting your whole self and thereby rediscovering the age-old wisdom, the personal fail-safe mechanism that is your intuitive inheritance.

The Unitive approach to personal and professional development doesn’t work according to a formula  - doesn’t have a set of bullet-pointed  procedures that can be learned by rote. It has grown organically over the last 30 years, building from a rock-solid intuitive foundation a practical framework that takes its modern influences from, amongst others, the work of Carl Jung, the gestalt approach to perception, the existential philosophers, and humanistic psychology. Its aim is to remind you of some simple, basic facts about the human condition that you already at some level know to be true, but may up to now have become buried deep within yourself.

Unitive coaching  is essentially a present-day restatement, a re-affirmation, of an insight that has been part and parcel of human awareness since time immemorial - that the psyche (your mind and feelings) and the soma (your mechanisms for perceiving and reacting to the physical world), are indivisible.  It incorporates an insight that has arisen independently in many different cultures since the beginning of recorded time, which states that human consciousness exists on a rising scale of awareness, starting from the lowest, most basic forms of physical existence and progressing up to the highest states of being, peace and unity.
